Jaipur, Rajasthan, India : The video of the unrelenting beating of a patient admitted in Sawai Mansingh Hospital in Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, is going viral rapidly. The incident is reported to have been reported Sunday.
In the video, the resident doctor, wearing a blue shirt and surgical mask, is seen hitting punches at a patient lying on the bed. The patient tries to escape repeatedly, but the doctor then punches him and gets slammed.
Not only that, but the angry doctor is on the bed of the patient and runs a hand to slap him several times. At the time when all this is happening, there are a large number of hospital staff and patients and their families in the ward, but nobody is speaking.
When a beaten-up patient starts to kick on the bed, some people there try to catch him and stop him.
According to media reports, the video of the patient being petered through a resident doctor is going viral like fire. The video is said to be three days old. The patient was subsequently molested by a senior doctor and the resident doctor, in turn, beat the patient. The case was suppressed before the video went viral.
After the video went viral, medical minister Raghu Sharma came into action and has sought a report in the whole case. He said that he himself has also seen the video but what actually happened will be known only after the report comes.
