India once again suffered a horrendous start after losing the toss, and lost its top three in the powerplay. Rahul departed for his second duck of the series. Ishan Kishan, who made a sparkling debut with a 32-ball 56, failed to produce a good knock this time.

Kohli scored his 27th international T20 50 and scored 77* of 46 balls as India ended with 156/6 in 20 overs. Kohli along with Hardik Pandya weaved partnership of 70 runs in just 33 balls.
Opener Jose Butler’s confident 83-run knock helped the hosts to chase the target. The England opener controlled his 52 balls inning well.
India will take on England in their fourth match on Thursday.
