Islamabad Under the banner of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F, Maulana Fazlur Rahman and other opposition parties, the ‘Azadi Morcha’ has asked Imran Khan to resign within 48 hours, calling him ‘fake and selected’ prime minister.
The ‘independence march’ started in Sindh province. The caravan reached the Punjab city of Lahore on Wednesday and concluded its journey in Islamabad on Thursday night. Opposition leaders gave a fiery speech against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government on Friday. The leaders and protesters gathered there gave an ultimatum of two days to Prime Minister Khan to resign.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ehsan Iqbal while addressing the ‘Independence March’ said that there was no dignity of the elected representative (Imran Khan). He said that unless an elected government comes to power, the country cannot grow.
Jamiat Ullema e Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman while addressing the people said that the current government of the country left the people of Kashmir alone. He said that the people of Kashmir will fight for freedom and self-determination.
Fazular also granted Imran Khan two days to resign as Prime Minister. He said, “We will not let them play with people’s feelings anymore.” We will not be patient anymore. We are giving them two days time. Should he resign himself or the public has the power to enter the Prime Minister’s residence and arrest Imran Khan. “
