India Squad for Sri Lanka – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian squad for Sri Lanka tour of 2021. Shikhar Dhawan will be leading the India National Cricket Team in Sri Lanka. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been named the vice-captain for India. See India vs Sri Lanka Schedule.
The Indian cricket team is all set to play against Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI and three-match T20I series in the month of July. The series will commence from July 13.
BCCI on Thursday, announced a 20-member limited-overs squad to face Sri Lanka on the limited-overs tour. A total of six new players have been added to the India Squad for Sri Lanka Tour.

A total of 5 net bowlers have also been added for the tour apart from the 20-member squad which consists of Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrier, Arshdeep Singh, Sai Kishore, Simranjeeet Singh.

India vs Sri Lanka Schedule
The three ODIs will be played on July 13, 16, and 18. While the T20I series will commence on July 21, and the next two matches will be played on July 23 and 25. All the matches will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
In the absence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan was the favourite to take up the captaincy of the team for the white-ball series against Sri Lanka. Shreyas Iyer’s name was also there but the batsman was unlikely to be included for the series due to shoulder injury, Dhawan looks set to lead the team.
Rahul Dravid, who is widely recognised among the finest coaches in the world, has already led the India U-19 team to World Cup glory in 2018. He is now set to take up the head coach’s role of team India Squad for Sri Lanka.
