BIOGRAPHY
Mason Mount was born on January 10, 1999 (age 22) in Portsmouth, England.
Mason Mount has been training at the club since he was six years old and signed at the Under-9 age group. He has always been an attacking midfielder, capable of playing in any of the central midfield roles and is particularly strong at going from box-to-box.
Academy
He played seven times for Chelsea Under-18s in 2014/15 when still a schoolboy and, despite picking up an injury on the first day of pre-season training, Mount’s debut campaign as a scholar was a positive one.
He moved to Vitesse Arnhem on loan for the 2017/18 season and enjoyed a year to remember in Holland. His 14 goals were integral in helping Vitesse qualify for the Europa League, and he featured impressively in that competition early in the campaign, too.
