Argentina squad for World Cup Qualifiers next month has been announced by coach Lionel Scaloni. Juventus star Paulo Dybala has been included in the Argentina Squad for World Cup Qualifiers. He has returned to the Argentina Squad after a long time. He was not included in Argentina Squad for Copa America 2021. With the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Sergio Aguero, it was difficult for Dybala to get a place in Argentina squad. But now, La Joya is back in the national team squad and will hopefully play next month in the World Cup Qualifiers.
Paulo Dybala is the big name inclusion as he has not been a part of Argentina national team for a long time. Lautaro Martinez and Lucas Alario are out with knocks. Striker Sergio Aguero who has recently joined Barcelona from Manchester City is out until October. Another striker Mauro Icardi is out for 3-4 weeks. In the absence of these forwards, Argentina Coach Lionel Scaloni has decided to include Paulo Dybala in Argentina squad for World Cup Qualifiers.
Argentina will face Venezuela, Brazil and Bolivia on September 2, 6 and 9 respectively.
PSG Superstar Lionel Messi is also called up to the Argentina squad for World Cup Qualifiers. He will face his new Paris Saint-Germain teammate Neymar and Brazil in a World Cup qualifier in September.
Lionel Messi won his first international trophy in July. Argentina defeated Brazil in the final of Copa America 2021 at Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Maracana stadium.
