India and New Zealand are playing against each other in the World Test Championship Final. During the first session on Day 5, Mohammed Shami was spotted wearing a towel in the ground. This incident has been trending on the internet and fans are very excited to know Why Mohammad Shami was wearing a towel in WTC Final match ?
Mohammed Shami was seen draped in a towel while walking back to the dressing room at lunch break. The reason behind this unique style was that the bowler was the chilly nature of the weather that is there in Southampton. So, in order to keep his lower back warm – he was seen doing that. So simply, the pacer was trying to beat the cold weather by wrapping his body with a towel. Actually Shami was bowling continuously before lunch and because of this he was sweating. Shami wrapped a white towel on himself to avoid the cold winds.
